We bumble....

....along each day and I am able to go to work, Samuel off to school and Harry to play at soldiers!

Its all new and taking some getting used to but we are getting there.

My new job is different and hard but I think it might be just what I needed and I like the company too.

Today is my nanas birthday. There is not a moment in the day I dont think about her, it doesnt get easier I think you just get used to the empty space and find a way around it. I imagine her sitting next to me at work, in my kitchen on a sunday and at the moment I know she is telling me off as I write this in bed with wet hair!!

So nana happy birthday, I love you in an unbelievable way and my life has changed since you left me.....

I am infected by the bug!

Martha finally succumbing to the Blythe bug sent me over the edge!

So here is Foofie.....

She is wearing my first ever creation and I am so proud of myself, all sewn on the machine hehehehe......and I didnt swear once!!

Off to make her a cape now........I never thought I would love this so much!!!

Tomorrow is my first day at my new job and I am very nervous, but we know that its the right move for us as a family. Its just hard to let go of some of the little things and accept the changes when they touch raw nerves!

New DT!!!

Yeaaahhh I have the chance to work on a new paper DT...a European paper DT!!!

Lovin that I can play hybrid and re print my papers if I need....loving the paper quality and getting to know some new friends and some old ones again!

When sassafras meets the memories....

As part of the Craft Critique team I was asked to review some product from Meyer imports. Cool vintage european goodies all colourful and pretty!

I loved what i got and it bought back memories of childhood holidays in Germany, in the forest where these HUGE dioramas stood.

You would put  pfenning in and snow white would come to life.

My sister was not impressed EVER but I was always amazed!!!

So I added Sassafras and got this....... (picture is not good cos of the glass and sunshine :()

Samuel is totally in love with this little girl

Its so funny to listen to him talk about her. Seeing Miranda feed her and walking beside her pram has made him ask so many questions.

He told me today he will marry her soon.....and then asked why we cant have a baby girl.

It makes me sad...but I do know we made the right choice and with the right reasons....you just cant explain that to him!

Amelie has also bought back the "old" hobbies to my long days. I am back embroidering and sewing. Enjoy crochet again and even dug out an old pile of patterns given to me many years ago by an old American lady. I think they must be 60 or 70 years old.

So I made our new little lady this

I also bought her a pattern to make this!

Its from Oliver and S. They have some amazing patterns. Old fashioned and just how children should be dressed! I cant wait to cut this out and start sewing just need to decide on a fabric!!!

My mum has made her a stunning christening dress, I will post a photo this week.

Also been busy scrapping for spring and for Prima. I cant show you yet but soon :)

I had some lovely emails about stopping with classes, thank you so much. 

My sister arrives thursday...yeahhhhh, I cant wait and neither can Samuel, he does love his noo and I miss my best friend. We are going to sew, scrap, eat chocolate and drink margaritas and finally hang my PIP wallpaper!
